Abstract
The intrusive thoughts of cancer diagnosis, treatments, re-experiencing, and avoidance associated with post-traumatic stress symptoms (PTSS) can negatively affect Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) survivors. This study investigates the associations between experiences and beliefs and PTSS among adolescent survivors of intermediate-risk HL treated on the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) AHOD0031 study. COG AHOD0031 participants completed self-report surveys at end of therapy concerning post-treatment medical conditions, activity limitations, fatigue, future concerns, exercise, and PTSS.
