Return of Results
Once a clinical trial has been completed, researchers analyze data from all participants and publish trial results in peer-reviewed medical journals to inform future research. These results show how well a treatment performed and how it compares to standard approaches.
In addition to scientific publications, COG shares trial results with all research participants through the Return of Results (ROR) program. ROR offers families a simple way to access plain-language summaries of study findings, including treatment effectiveness, side effects, and patient outcomes. These summaries reflect overall study results and are not specific to an individual patient’s care.
