Hodgkin Lymphoma
Hodgkin lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphatic system, a network of tissues and organs that help the body fight infection. It commonly affects adolescents and young adults (AYA). Survival rates today are over 95% overall, however, many survivors suffer long-term side effects from these treatments. Of these, the most concerning include heart disease and the development of secondary cancers later in life. Given these risks, it is essential to not only cure the disease but also to minimize the long-term impact of treatment.
